This song carries with it many aesthetic qualities which attempt to reflect a complex feeling, or nexus, of sensuality and insecurity, awkward confusion and enlightened understanding, lust and mistrust, peace and paranoia. It attempts to find a comfortable place inside an environment constructed with fear and nostalgia. It works tirelessly to jack-hammer away at a wall made of concrete and ill-communication. It wants desperately to discover a meaning inside acts of malevolence and to lay at peace next to the conclusion. Yet, ultimately, it is engulfed and destroyed by the lack of any definable impetus and the implications of its absence. It is at this point which the track gives up, cut short by its frustration and weariness and is eventually overpowered by a deceitfully bubbly and rich tonic, to which it just says fuck it, and drinks the irresistible poison. This, in turn, makes the track it's only ally and worst enemy. The solution to, and destroyer of, itself.
