From the movie "Nara" (Horror)

"After making a gruesome discovery the female character "Krista" comes home and is in deep thought over whether or not she should turn in a friend to the authorities. A friend that has a horrifying side of him that only she knows..."

The audio presented here is actually taken right from the movie. The piece was written and produced in Ableton Live 8 Suite using the video import and export feature for scoring and video warping. This feature allowed me to seamlessly track and lock audio/video together and convey dramatic emotions of fear and trepidation quite easily throughout the movie. Using a stock plugin called "Inspiration" - part of the Electric Instrument Series plugin available in the suite, this electric piano sound provides the main melody while it was processed heavily through TAL Dub 2 fx. I automated feedback, distortion & wet/dry amounts in Ableton to get the regeneration effects etc. I also applied some slight layering of Absynth 4 mixed in underneath.
